Grammar Right to Left Writing Arabic is written from right to left. Numbers may still appear left to right depending on context.
Grammar Short Vowels Fatha is a short a, kasra is a short i, and damma is a short u. Many everyday texts omit them.
Grammar Long Vowels Alif, Waw, and Ya can work as long vowels, aa, oo, and ee.
Grammar Gender Many Arabic nouns are masculine or feminine. Feminine words often end with ة.
